On sale now on eBid.co.uk

From the Little Miss Vogue website: http://www.littlemissvogue.co.uk/

"Little Miss Vogue (LMV) was produced by Pedigree in 1959, described by them at the time as "a new concept of the teenage doll and her wardrobe to win the hearts of the older girl and the imaginative adult." ...............................

LMV is 10"/26 cm tall and unmarked. She was made of vinyl with sleeping eyes and rooted hair in four colour ways; platinum blonde, honey blonde, brunette and auburn. ............................She was sold boxed for 17/- and came wearing her bra, panty girdle, stockings and high heeled sandals that were worn with everything, including ballet!

LMV was discontinued in 1963 the year that heralded the arrival of Sindy."

My LMV is just under 50 years old having been my Christmas present in about 1962 and definitely in played with condition. This means light scratches, rubs etc.

Her limbs are firm and her arms are of the softer vinyl. She has 6 joints with non-bending arms and legs.
She has lovely vivid blue sleepy eyes, twist and turn waist and feet designed for high heel shoes.

She has a good thick head of original hair which is honey blonde in the crysanthemum style.

She does need a wipe over as she is a little grubby after being stored away for so long at my parents [I only reclaimed her back this Spring] - but otherwise in good condition.

She has lost her original earrings, and high-heeled sandals, but still has her original briefs and stockings, albeit slightly mended. And the original box she came in has long gone.

She also has a fair-sized wardrobe - made by myself and my grandmother - some are hand stitched, others are machine stitched or knitted - see photos below. BUT PLEASE NOTE: not all have fastenings as I wasn't very good at sewing on poppas and buttons!

The pink dress in the top row has an original Pedigree label - I put it there in the back seam, as the original dress had fallen to pieces through much play :)
