Clergy House School was an English medium primary school in Khartoum, Sudan catering for both ex-pat and Sudanese children. .

I was the School Secretary for 2 years from 1979-1981.

January 1951 - in the village shop, Christchurch, nr. Upwell, Cambridgeshire.

The village shopkeeper, Walter CAWTHORN (my grandfather), with his assistant, Barbara COX, and customer, Hazel RUMBELOW.

The village shop began life as the Co-Operative Stores in 1874 with my Gt Gt Grandfather, George CAWTHORN, as Manager. In 1882, there were 43 members. The Society was dissolved in 1884.
